JACKSON, MS — Following the announcement of Mike Wigton’s retirement, Mike Leech will be taking over the role of President of Irby Co., a Sonepar subsidiary.
Mike Leech has been an Officer and vice president of Irby for the past 18 years. He has been with Irby for 34 years, and has held various sales and operations roles throughout his time with the organization.
"Mike is an accomplished leader with a consistent record of achievement in developing sales and strategic operations for Irby, and his strong background will continue to lead the organization to future success and growth," Sonepar said Wednesday.
Sonepar North America was No. 5 on Industrial Distribution's 2015 Big 50 List.
Based in Jackson, MS and founded in 1926, Irby joined Sonepar in 2005. It has 882 employees across 70 branches.
