The expansion of Disston’s product line—with both Blu-Mol and Blu-Mol Xtreme branded product--includes black oxide, titanium, cobalt, power bores, glass & tile, masonry, spade bits, and countersinks and drill/countersinks. The black oxide, titanium, and cobalt drills are offered on cards in jobber length with black oxide also including extended length (12”) and S&D. Jobber length black oxide and titanium are also offered in envelopes and with an accompanying compact bulk bin for countertop display. Titanium drills feature M2 quality for a stronger industrial-quality drill. Cobalt drills contain M35 steel with 5% cobalt content, yielding strong durable performance in hard metal drilling applications. Carded spade bits are offered in 4”, 6”, and 16” lengths. Masonry drill bits, designed to be a multi-purpose bit, are suitable for use in impact or rotary drills. Cobalt jobber drills, spade bits, masonry, and power wood boring bits with their unique features represent Disston’s premium quality brand, Blu-Mol Xtreme.
