GRAPEVINE, Tex. – The North Texas Chapter of the Warehousing Education and Research Council (WERC) is celebrating its 10th year hosting the Annual Warehousing Resource Convention. This year, more than 400 people are expected to attend this event for supply chain, technology, software and material handling education over a one day period, including attendees and leading suppliers in the industry. This year’s event is located at the Grapevine Convention Center on Wednesday, October 12, 2011.

Norm Saenz, Assistant Vice President at TranSystems, has been organizing this event as the North Texas WERC President, since its inception in 2001. “It’s great to be able to organize an event where my colleagues in North Texas meet face-to-face and hear from their peers on hot topics in the industry,” said Saenz. “This Resource Convention continues to grow because of the value and opportunities provided to the warehousing industry.”

In addition to organizing this conference, Saenz is also leading TranSystems’ speaking engagements at the Convention. First, partnering with GRSI, TranSystems will speak about ROBOTS in Distribution followed by leading a roundtable on “Getting the Most out of Your Space.”
