TACOMA, WA, — Stellar Industrial Supply announced Wednesday that CEO John Wiborg is the first male named to the Industrial Supply Association's W.I.S.E. (Women Industrial Supply Executives) Advisory Council.
Stellar distributes more than 35,000 MRO products and tools from more than 1,500 brands for safety, metalworking, marine supply, aerospace and other general manufacturing and processing organizations. The company also offers customized indirect material management solutions.
“We are looking to expand W.I.S.E., its footprint and impact on the industry as we make further progress toward women’s empowerment in the industrial supply channel," said W.I.S.E. founder and advisory council chair Kathleen Durbin, who is also CEO of General Industrial Tool & Supply. W.I.S.E is a part of ISA, a trade association that supports the industrial MROP channel. ISA members gain access to an array of tools to advance and help develop company and career, with core tracks including education, analytics, networking, and advocacy.
