EAST GRANBY, CT — Industrial Buyers Consortium (IBC) has announced the addition of Abolox, LLC, to its growing list of independent distributor members. Founded in 2013 and headquartered in Melbourne, FL, Abolox is a supplier of safety equipment, tools, industrial supplies, and defense parts.

"Our vision is to distinguish ourselves from our competition by providing the best values of quality and price to our customers," said Ahmed Abuswa, Chief Operating Officer.

"Not only do we represent some of the most reputable brands on the planet," Abuswa continued, "but we are also transparent with our customers and vendors while delivering on every promise we make."

According to Abuswa, Abolox focuses primarily on Defense Logistics Agency (DLA) contracting – a point that differentiates the company from typical independent distributors. He sees Abolox’s new IBC member status as a positive move for the growing distributor.

"We got to a point where we needed a larger pool of Preferred Suppliers to access and buy from," said Abuswa, "so joining IBC – and gaining access to its supplier base – made perfect sense."

Nancy Schwind, IBC’s Director of Business Development, said Abolox comprises a team of industry professionals that ensures that customer service always remains the forefront. "While Abolox is a relatively young company, it operates with a sense of urgency that suppliers and end users find valuable in today’s environment," said Schwind, "where technology many times trumps the need for human interaction."

IBC is an alliance of industrial, bearing & power transmission, electrical, and subassembly distributors with over 550 branch locations and total sales in excess of $6.64 billion.
