The economic recovery has been slowing, and it's becoming increasingly more difficult for jobless Americans to return to work. Only 54,000 jobs were created in May, the fewest in eight months. By contrast, an average of 220,000 jobs were created in each of the previous three months. The recent numbers suggest a bleak outlook for job hunters in the coming months.
