Border States announced Wednesday that it has promoted Vice President of Distribution Zach Kincaid to be the company’s new vice president of procurement.

Kincaid succeeds Richelle Bishoff, who was named vice president of industrial solutions last month.

“This appointment represents a full-circle moment for Zach, who began his career at Border States in procurement,” said Border States Executive Vice President, Supply Chain James Sipe.

“The perspective gained from the field, branches and customers will directly shape how I lead procurement going forward,” Kincaid said in the announcement. “My focus is on leading procurement as a strategic profit driver and sales enabler."

Border States ranked at no. 20 on ID's latest Big 50.
