Sellars Absorbent Materials has named a new president and chief operating officer to succeed the company’s retiring COO, officials announced.
Wade Kemnitz will take over for Julie Graverson, who officially departs the company at the end of the month. Kemnitz previously served as president and CEO of paper and tissue product manufacturer — and Sellars supplier — BiOrigin Specialty Products, and also spent time at Clearwater Paper and Kimberly-Clark.
“Wade has in-depth industry knowledge and exceptional leadership skills managing complex systems. His knowledge of DRC — Double Re-Creped — technology, high-performance operational work systems and culture development will be a significant benefit to our company,” CEO Tom Sellars said in the announcement.
