Affiliated Distributors on Monday named two new members to the board of its Bearings & Power Transmission division.
Transmission & Fluid Equipment President Chris Hughes and Binkelman Corp. General Manager Brad Fitzgerald will succeed departing members Frank Stangl, the president of Weimer Bearing & Transmission, and Geoff Filker, principal of Eastern Industrial Automation.
TFE is a Fort Wayne, Indiana, distributor of bearings, power transmission, fluid power, automation and industrial products, while Binkelman, located in Toledo, Ohio, provides industrial motion, fluid power, conveyor, belting and automation solutions. Hughes, AD officials noted, previously chaired IDC-USA, which has since merged with AD.
"Both individuals are proven leaders who understand the importance of collaboration, the value that the AD community delivers to their supplier partners and are committed to independent distribution,” BPT Board Chairman Justin Phelps said in a statement. “Their experience, insight and commitment to the industry will be valuable additions to our board as we continue advancing the strategic goals of the division."
