Louisville distributor Air Hydro Power announced Thursday that its executive vice president will take over as its CEO next month.
Jason McGuire, who joined the company early this year from ITT Inc., will become CEO effective Oct. 1. He previously spent 20 years at Parker Hannifin.
Jason McGuire succeeds Tom McGuire — no relation — who will shift into a consulting role with AHP parent Houchens Industries after 34 years with the distributor.
Tom McGuire, Matt Ott and Dick Beaven purchased AHP in 1998. The company has since grown from six sales reps and $10 million in annual sales to a staff of nearly 400 across 27 locations and $200 million in sales. Houchens, an employee-owned company, acquired the business in 2023.
In his new role, Tom McGuire will continue to assist AHP in “selected areas, including acquisitions and special projects,” in addition to supporting Houchens’ other businesses.
“Tom helped build an exceptional company with a strong culture, talented co-owners and deep customer relationships,” Jason McGuire said in a statement. “We will build on that foundation by continuing to invest in our people, serve customers remarkably well, and lead through change.”
