QXO Inc. on Monday named a former Honeywell and PPG executive as its new president and chief operating officer.
Ken West will be responsible for managing the company’s day-to-day operations in his new role, which begins Sept. 1. He will report to QXO CEO Brad Jacobs.
West most recently served as president and CEO of Honeywell Process Technology and previously led the industrial giant’s energy and sustainability, petrochemical and advanced materials businesses. He joined Honeywell after serving as global vice president of packaging coatings at PPG Industries.
“I’m excited to join QXO at this pivotal moment in its growth,” West said in the announcement. “We have an extraordinary opportunity to build the preeminent company in the building products industry, and I’m eager to help transform the QXO team's bold vision into reality.”
“Ken is an exceptional operator with the executional rigor to lead QXO’s operations,” added Jacobs. “He has demonstrated an ability to achieve outstanding results across a number of industrial businesses.”
QXO reported net sales of $3.25 billion in its recent second quarter financial results, along with a net loss of $55 million.
