Border States this month named a Schneider Electric executive as its new executive vice president for enterprise strategy and corporate development.
Josh Dickinson previously served as the chief financial officer for North America at Schneider’s U.S. segment. Border States officials said that he has over 20 years of experience overall across the industrial, logistics, energy management and technology markets.
In his new role, the company said, Dickinson will help advance enterprise strategy and evaluate “growth opportunities to help position the company for continued long-term success.”
“We are extremely fortunate to have someone with Josh’s experience, background and drive join us,” Border States President and CEO Jason Seger said in the announcement. “He will work across our organization to connect strategy with execution.”
“The more I learned about Border States, the more impressed I became with what the company has built and the opportunity ahead,” Dickinson said. “There is a unique combination here of strong local relationships, significant scale, ambitious growth plans and employee ownership.”
The Fargo, North Dakota-based distributor is the no. 20 company on ID’s recently released Big 50 List.
