Endries International has named a new vice president of sales as part of a “broader transformation,” the company announced Monday.
Wally Tappe, the Wisconsin distributor said, would lead the company’s sales organization as it “continues to scale its go-to-market capabilities.” Tappe formerly led the Home Depot wholesale division’s Texas operations; he joined the home improvement retail giant through its acquisition of HD Supply, where he served as director of sales. Previously, he served as a district manager at Fastenal.
“As we continue to evolve our sales organization and expand our market reach, Wally is the right leader to help us get there,” Endries President and CEO Dan Crociata said in the announcement.
“What attracted me to Endries is its strong culture, exceptional people and unwavering commitment to its customers,” Tappe said.
Endries is the no. 32 company on ID’s latest Big 50 list.
