Fluid power and motion control products and services distributor Hydradyne announced Tuesday that it agreed to acquire Brookhaven, MS-based Gatlin Corp./Seal Group at Gatlin.

Gatlin is a fluid power systems fabrication and repair services provider with a customer base covering Mississippi, Louisiana, and western Alabama. Hydradyne said Seal Group has expanded over the years to now serve from three locations in Covington, LA and Jackson, TN in addition to Brookhaven.

Hydradyne has 35 branches in 11 states, and was No. 41 on Industrial Distribution's 2015 Big 50 List with $256 million in 2014 sales.

"The driving force behind our business vision is meeting the needs of customers in their local marketplace," Hydradyne President David Parks said. "Gatlin has built a solid and successful operation and provided superior local service for decades. We share that strong customer focus with them. Hydradyne will help Gatlin by offering our broad and deep product lines to its services customers. In turn, Hydradyne will utilize Gatlin’s expertise and veteran sales team to offer standard and customized seal products and solutions to our own customers. Together we will deliver an exceptional and unmatched customer experience."
