Glen Burnie, MD - Singer Equities has acquired Hanna Rubber Company with headquarters in Kansas City, Missouri. Hanna Rubber Company, founded in 1925, is a leading industrial rubber and plastics distributor specializing in gaskets, extruded and molded rubber products as well as a full line of industrial and hydraulic hose and fittings. Hanna will be Singer’s seventh platform company, and its first in the Midwest. Scott Assyia will serve as VP/GM, Al Kelly as VP/Sales and Dennis Logsdon as VP/Plant Operations.
Hanna Rubber Company was an asset of the Estate of James B. Vandergrift, who owned and operated the company from 1974 until his death in 2009. Hanna Rubber Chairman Connie Wodlinger represented the Estate in the sale.
