FRASER, MI — On Sept. 20, MP Pumps will celebrate its 75th year of business.

MP Pumps was founded in Detroit in 1942, shortly after the U.S. entry into World War II. The company's first pumps were used in landing craft, P.T boats and other amphibious vehicles where quality and reliability were absolutely essential. After the war, MP continued to grow along with a reputation for superior design, engineering and manufacturing of centrifugal pumps for a wide variety of applications.

“After 75 years MP is still pumping strong and there is a heritage of excellence and pride at MP Pumps," said company global vice president of marketing Ed Laabs. "Our entire team looks forward to continuous engagement with our valued customers as we provide pump solutions to grow our collective businesses."

"Quality, reliability and durability are designed and engineered into every MP Pump," the company adds. "MP Pumps mission remains the same — to satisfy our customers with superior products that meet or exceed their requirements."

MP provides centrifugal pump solutions serving the industrial, marine, agriculture, petroleum, transportation, warewash and emerging markets. The company's 90,000 square-foot facility is located in Fraser, MI, where it warehouses more than 4,000 different SKUs.
