NetPlus Alliance this week named its distributors and suppliers of the year for 2025 at its annual meeting in suburban Dallas.
The buying group presented both BC Industrial & Construction Supply and Motion Industries with awards for the Tier 1 Distributor of the Year after those companies recorded purchase growth of 25% and 10%, respectively. Spartan Tool Supply’s purchases more than doubled year-over-year to take the Tier 2 award, while Action Fasteners & Supply’s purchases more than tripled in Tier 3.
The group’s suppliers of the year were Brighton-Best for Tier 1, Walter Surface Technologies for Tier 2 and Safewaze in Tier 3. Its “Growth Plus” awards for new business, sales growth and conversions, which are shared by a distributor and supplier, went to Gregory Industries and Ohio Power Tool, Milwaukee Tool and Midland Tool & Supply, and Mazzella and Environmental & Dewatering Solutions, respectively.
Other awards were announced for marketing excellence (Milwaukee Tool), training (PIP Global Safety), and courses completed in the NetPlus Academy (Hybroco Sales). The buying group also introduced “Catalyst Awards” for distributors at under $2 million in purchases, which went to Northeast Tool Distributors, RILCO Safety Supply and RPI Rentals, as well as their respective NetPlus liaisons.
The Dan Judge Founder’s Award was presented to Terry Snower, the owner and managing director of Cicero Manufacturing & Supply.
NetPlus officials said that over 800 people attended the Oct. 18-20 event in Grapevine, Texas, representing 185 distributors, 170 suppliers, 15 service providers and 13 manufacturer’s rep agencies.
“The next era of distribution won’t be defined simply by who is the biggest, but by who adapts, uses technology as a strategic partner, and continues to deliver the trust, reliability and relationships that have always mattered in this industry,” NetPlus President and CEO Jennifer Murphy said at the event. “You don't have to become the biggest company in your market, but you do have to keep becoming a better one.”
