Michigan automotive and industrial distributor Shively Bros. was named as one of General Motors’ suppliers of the year for 2025, the company announced earlier this month.
GM’s 34th annual Supplier of the Year and Overdrive awards, officials said, recognized 103 suppliers in total across 14 countries. Recipients were selected by a global GM panel based on their performances across safety, innovation, execution, resilience, customer support and other categories.
Shively was honored at a GM reception held in May in Austin, Texas.
“When our suppliers, such as Shively Bros. Inc., lean in with us on new technology and flawless execution, we can move faster, compete harder and unlock more value across the entire supply chain,” GM Senior Vice President and Global Chief Procurement and Supply Chain Officer Shilpan Amin said in a statement.
