Affiliated Distributors on Wednesday highlighted a slew of workplace awards that the buying group has received this year.
AD said that it was named among the “Top Workplaces” by USA Today for the third time and by the Philadelphia Inquirer for the eight consecutive year. Those awards are based on anonymous employee surveys conducted by Energage LLC; the group also received Top Workplace “Cultural Excellence Awards” for its employee appreciation, employee wellbeing and professional development initiatives.
AD added that its Canadian operations were named a “Great Place to Work” for the fourth year in a row, and were listed among the “Best Places to Work in Canada” for the third straight time.
“What makes these recognitions meaningful is that they come directly from our associates and they reflect the culture our associates have built together over many years — one based on trust, respect and a shared commitment to doing good work,” AD Chairman and CEO Bill Weisberg said in a statement.
