Sonepar subsidiary Irby celebrated the 100th anniversary of the business at an event last week at its Mississippi headquarters, company officials said.

The utility product and services provider, founded in Jackson in 1926, was acquired by Sonepar in 2005 and today spans 58 locations nationwide with a staff of over 1,000. It supports electric, gas and communications infrastructure in “a rapidly evolving utility market,” officials said, and has recorded over 10% year-over-year growth for nine consecutive years.
