Weimer Bearing & Transmission Named AD’s ‘BPT Member of the Year’

Affiliated Distributors said Thursday that its Bearings & Power Transmission Division set a new record for attendance at its annual North American meeting earlier this month.

ADThe buying group said that nearly 350 members, suppliers, service providers and other industry stakeholders attended the conference at the Renaissance Schaumburg Convention Center Hotel in suburban Chicago. The event featured the presentation of the division’s “Spirit of Independence Awards” for 2026, including AD BPT Member of the Year Weimer Bearing & Transmission.

Darin Davenport, the division’s president, said in a statement that the attendance record “speaks to the strength of the relationships that define our division.”

“This meeting was a powerful reminder that when we invest in relationships and focus on serving one another, we create opportunities for growth that benefit everyone involved," added Justin Phelps, the chair of the AD BPT Division board and the owner and president of member Power Drive Systems Inc.

Other award winners for 2026 included CBT Company (Member of the Year for Digital Excellence), IBT Industrial Solutions (Best Annual Planning Process), and Solve Industrial Motion Group (Supplier of the Year).
