Winsupply announced Tuesday that it has named a pair of presidents within its “family of companies” to new positions on its “area leader” staff.

Terry Dickens, the president of Kansas subsidiary Olathe Winwater, will focus on “high-growth opportunities” along with Jesse Backman, its new area leader along the East Coast, while Luke Larkin, the president of South Atlanta Winsupply, succeeded the recently retired Steve Lyon as the company’s area leader in Florida.

Winsupply’s area leaders recruit and mentor the leaders of “Family of Companies” businesses, which are majority-owned by Winsupply with stakes owned by the local company leaders. Winsupply says that the group includes more than 680 wholesalers across the U.S.

The newly announced additions bring the company’s area leader staff to 13.

"Our team's goal is to be more strategic in helping local company entrepreneurs grow market share and scale their business," Rob Ferguson, the president of the Winsupply Local Company Group, said in a statement. "These added resources will focus our strategy, provide flexibility, and continue to build the next generation of local company leaders."

Winsupply ranked third on ID’s most recent Big 50 list.
