Safety product and PPE supplier SureWerx announced this week that it has named a former Wesco and 3M official as its new chief operating officer.
Shawn Gregg most recently served as vice president and general manager of global safety at Wesco, and previously held a number of leadership roles at 3M, including as vice president of safety and fire protection and heading its industrial supplies business in the Asia-Pacific region. He also serves on the boards of the Industrial Supply Association and Aatmunn Technologies.
“Shawn is a proven operator who knows how to translate product and category strategy into execution,” SureWerx CEO Scott Dowell said in a statement. “He brings a unique combination of commercial depth, operational discipline and global experience.
“I’m excited to join SureWerx and step into this role at an important point in the company’s growth,” added Gregg, who will assume his new role on Monday. “The strength of the company’s brands, its channel relationships, and its market position create a significant opportunity.”
