Distribution Solutions Group subsidiary TestEquity on Tuesday announced a series of executive appointments that officials said would support its “next phase of growth.”

The distributor of test and measurement solutions and other electronics has promoted William Bland to president of both TestEquity and DSG Mexico, which expands the business’ leadership footprint “across North America.”

The company has also named longtime Arrow Electronics veteran Jacob Harris as its chief sales officer, and former Grainger and True Value official John Leahy as chief merchandising officer.

Other appointments included Chief Digital and Marketing Officer Klaus Werner, Chief of Staff and Strategy Clifton Wu, and Chief People Officer Karen McGowan. Werner and Wu each spent time at Global Industrial Company, which was formerly led by TestEquity CEO Barry Litwin.

"These leaders joined to give us the depth to accelerate execution of our ‘AmpX’ growth strategy across the priorities that matter most to our customers and supplier partners: commercial alignment, merchandising strategy, organizational capability, and digital commerce,” Litwin said in a statement. “This is what a best-in-class team looks like.”

DSG ranked at no. 16 on the latest ID Big 50.
