Graybar on Tuesday named new vice presidents to lead its strategic pricing and shared services operations.

Najam Chohan, the finance director in Graybar’s California district, was promoted to lead its company-wide pricing strategy, in part, by leveraging advanced technologies and “data-driven insights.” Chohan first joined Graybar in 1998.

Paul Ferguson, the new vice president of shared services, joins the electrical and industrial distributor from fellow St. Louis company Emerson, where he most recently served as vice president of global financial and business services. He will focus on “operational excellence, streamlined processes, and expanded use of AI and technology to deliver efficient, high-quality services,” Graybar officials said.

"We congratulate Najam on his promotion and welcome Paul to Graybar," Chairman, President and CEO Kathleen Mazzarella said in a statement. "Their leadership and innovative perspectives will play an important role in advancing our business transformation, enhancing our capabilities, and positioning Graybar for long-term success."

Graybar’s industrial operations ranked at no. 14 on ID’s latest Big 50 list.
