5 With ID: NetPlus' Dan Judge on Impact of Pandemic Vs Recession

Judge, an icon in the industrial supply market, compares business impacts of the pandemic on NetPlus distributors with impacts they faced during the 2008-2009 Great Recession. His findings may surprise you.

Dan Judge is one of the most well-known figures in the industrial supply sector. In 1993 he founded I.D. One, which was the first buying group for distributors of industrial supplies. In 2002, he founded NetPlus Alliance, which has served as a critical buying group for industrial and contractor supplies distributors. He just handed off ownership of NetPlus to his daughter and company president Jennifer Murphy, but remains chairman of NetPlus.

In this 5 With ID episode, I ask Judge to compare the business impacts of the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic on NetPlus distributor members with the impacts they faced during the 2008-2009 Great Recession. His findings may surprise you.
