Packer Fastener announced Monday that it has opened a new facility in Nebraska — the company’s second addition in less than two weeks.
Packer officials said that the new 24,000-square-foot site in Omaha would provide supplies to major manufacturing and construction projects in the area. The Wisconsin fastener and industrial product distributor has expanded rapidly over the past two years, adding locations in Kansas, Ohio, Georgia, Mississippi, Iowa, and, most recently, Indiana in June and Salt Lake City last month.
Company officials told ID that Packer also expects to announce new facilities in Alabama and Iowa before the end of the year.
“Our new location means we can be closer, faster and better-positioned to support growth happening across the region,” Packer CEO Terry Albrecht said in a statement Monday.
