Sonepar subsidiary Echo Electric announced Monday that it has added a new branch in South Dakota and relocated another location in northern Iowa.
Echo will hold a grand opening event for the new Sioux Falls branch on Wednesday. The 50,000-square-foot facility is the company’s third in South Dakota and 64th across the Midwest. In includes a counter, delivery service, and logistics and project management support, as well as wire services and access to Echo’s “Power Center” modification shop.
“Our new Sioux Falls facility represents more than a new building. It is an investment in our customers, our associates and the future of this growing region,” Echo President Chris Scarbrough said in a statement. “By expanding our inventory, delivery capabilities and specialized services, we’re strengthening what sets Echo apart.”
The company also opened a new facility in Clear Lake, Iowa, to replace a former location in nearby Mason City. The 22,000-square-foot branch offers triple the space of the Mason City location, officials said, and allows for expanded inventory and improved customer service capabilities.
