BlackHawk Industrial announced Tuesday that it has officially opened a new distribution facility near its headquarters in Tulsa, Oklahoma.
The metalworking and MRO distributor held a ribbon-cutting ceremony Thursday for the 72,000-square-foot complex, which will serve the company’s customers across Oklahoma, North Texas, Kansas and Arkansas.
BlackHawk officials said that the facility creates additional capacity for cutting tools, abrasives, coolants, specialty fasteners, structural studs and other MRO supplies, as well as offers 10,000 square feet of office space. The company also said that it was designed to accommodate “future growth and customer demand.”
"BlackHawk continues to grow, and our new Tulsa warehouse represents an important investment in both our business and the community we serve," BlackHawk Industrial President and CEO John Mark said in a statement. "We offer a breadth of capabilities under one roof that sets us apart in the eastern Oklahoma market, and we're incredibly proud of that.”
BlackHawk is the no. 25 company on ID’s newest Big 50 List.
