BlackHawk Industrial announced Thursday that it is relocating its operations in a southern Michigan city to a new, larger facility.
The Oklahoma-based metalworking and industrial supply distributor — the no. 25 company on ID’s 2026 Big 50 list — said that the new hub in Jackson, Michigan, would broaden its ability to support the region’s manufacturers with products as well as “technical expertise, vendor-managed inventory and supply chain solutions.”
The expansion reflects the company’s “continued investment” in the Michigan market, as well, officials said. BlackHawk also operates a branch in Grand Rapids.
Amy McNutt, BlackHawk’s regional sales director, said in a statement that the new facility “brings more capabilities, products, and industry expertise together under one roof.”
“Investing in facilities like Jackson is part of how we continue to strengthen our ability to serve customers at the local level while supporting our broader growth strategy,” added President and CEO John Mark.
BlackHawk will hold an open house and “manufacturing showcase” event at the new location on Oct. 15.
