Fastener and components distributor All State Fastener this week officially opened a new, larger distribution facility in central Ohio.

The new hub in Chillicothe replaces a former ASF facility located nearby. The company held a ribbon-cutting ceremony Tuesday, but officials said Wednesday that it is already “fully operational” with “tens of millions of dollars” in inventory.

ASF leaders said that the new building would bolster its support for heavy truck manufacturers and their tier suppliers, as well as enable it to expand its transportation fastener business into Class C and tiered components.

The company said that it has also doubled its headcount in the Chillicothe area to more than 40 employees.

"From an operational standpoint, Douglas [Avenue] gives us the capacity and flexibility to grow with our customers from a centrally located, multi-use facility that can service every tier of the heavy truck network,” ASF COO Andrew Taylor said in a statement.

ASF noted that it has previously added operations in Washington state, Quebec and northern Mexico this year, and expects to establish additional facilities in Mexico and the Northeastern U.S. in 2027.

"All State Fastener is growing with purpose, expanding in the markets where our customers need us, investing ahead of demand and building the capabilities to win new business across a broader range of industries and products,” said CEO Dan Hill. “We have ambitious plans for ASF, and the investments we're making today are creating the platform for that next stage of growth."
