Merriam, Kansas-based IBT Industrial Solutions – No. 48 on Industrial Distribution's 2015 Big 50 List – has concluded its search for a new president and chief executive officer Thursday's announcement that Michael Flannery has accepted the position. It is effective Nov. 10.
IBT notes that Flannery joins IBT with a manufacturing background outside of the industry, though he has worked through distribution for most of his professional career.
"IBT was fortunate to find a leader with Mike’s qualifications, capabilities and personnel skills," IBT's Chairman Stephen Cloud in a statement. "All IBT employees are excited to have the opportunity to work with Mike as we begin fiscal year 2016."
