The Precision Metalforming Association announced Monday that Mark Getsay has been named the group’s new managing director.

Getsay formerly served as both the group’s chief operating officer and chief financial officer, and also led the PMA Educational Foundation. As managing director, he will lead “all aspects of the association’s operations, finance and strategy, guiding PMA through its next phase of growth.”

“Mark brings a deep understanding of PMA and the metalforming industry, along with a strong track record of leadership,” Christopher Zuzick, chair of the PMA board of directors, said in a statement. “His experience across the organization and his commitment to our members make him the right leader to strengthen the organization and position PMA for the future.”

“I’m honored to step into this role at such an important time for PMA and the industry,” added Getsay. “Building on a strong 80-year foundation, I’m excited to work with our team and Board to enhance member support, expand our impact and deliver even greater value in the years ahead.”

The association also announced that Director of Meetings and Events Katlyn Stratis was promoted to executive director of member services, and said that it plans to add a new executive director of membership and engagement to its leadership team, as well.
