Sonepar on Thursday announced a reshuffling of the leadership for its western and eastern U.S. operations.
Dana Mouritzen, currently the president of the West region, will shift to the East region to succeed the retiring Alan Rosenfeld, while Scott Jansen, the president of Sonepar’s QED subsidiary, will take over the West region effective Jan. 1.
Jansen will continue to lead QED while Sonepar conducts a search for his successor, and Mouritzen will continue to serve as the COO for Sonepar USA.
Sonepar officials noted that Jansen helped guide the integration of Independent Electric Supply’s Arizona locations into the QED brand in 2023, and that he most recently led the subsidiary’s addition of central distribution hubs near Denver and Phoenix.
“Scott brings a wealth of experience and a proven ability to navigate complexity. He executes strategic plans effectively and knows how to best support our operating companies so they can grow profitably,” Sonepar Americas President Rob Taylor said in a statement. “I’m confident the West region will have a smooth transition under his leadership.”
