Wesco on Monday announced the appointment of two new members to its board of directors effective at the beginning of 2026.
Michael Carter, the executive vice president and chief partner officer of Truist Financial Corp., and David Wajsgras, the former CEO of Intelsat Holdings and a former executive at Raytheon, Lear Corp. and other companies, will join as independent directors. Each has been unanimously approved by Wesco’s board.
Current board members Bobby Griffin and Steve Raymund, officials said, are set to retire at the conclusion of their current terms in May.
"Michael brings three decades of capital markets expertise with an extensive background in mergers and acquisitions, investment banking and corporate finance. Dave is an experienced CEO and CFO who brings deep global expertise in industrial, communications and technology-driven infrastructure sectors,” Wesco Chairman, President and CEO John Engel said in a statement. “Their perspectives will be invaluable as we continue to execute our Wesco strategy and drive long-term value for our customers and shareholders."
