PHOENIX, AZ — Vern Lewis Welding Supply, Inc. an independent welding supply and industrial gas distributor, has announced the opening of a new central distribution center in downtown Phoenix.
The 34,000 square foot facility is has undergone a remodel to house the corporate and billing office, rental and repair division, and purchasing and hard goods warehouse. The new distribution will add a tremendous amount of advantages to the fast growing company by centralizing deliveries, interdepartmental transfers, and a convenient location for customer to visit the in-house rental and repair department.
The company is excited about streamlining of services by having a centrally located distribution. "As the company grows, we need to have the space and location to serve our retail locations and customers on a high level" stated management. The fill plant will be the last addition to the building at the end of 2018, and will be a hub for route delivery trucks and transfer trucks.
The new distribution center is centrally located near the I-10 and I-17 interchange and can be easily accessed from both highways, as well and Grand Avenue.
