B&J Welding Supply announced Thursday that it has added two new branches in recent months, bringing its total in West Texas to nine.
The first new location, in Odessa, opened in the fourth quarter of last year, while an Abilene branch opened early this year. The company, along with private equity owner Cordatus Capital, also formally announced last summer’s acquisition of GM Welding Supply in San Angelo, Texas.
B&J officials said in a statement that it plans to continue increasing its geographic footprint “across Texas and surrounding states” through added locations and acquisitions.
“This recent growth strengthens our ability to support existing customers while extending our reach to new customers across our target markets,” B&J CEO Jason Jones said in a statement. “We are fortunate to have a strong team in place and are enthusiastic about future expansion opportunities."
