TIPCO Technologies has entered into a “strategic partnership” with Texas fastener supplier MTS Threaded Products, company officials announced Tuesday.
TIPCO officials said that deal would create “an unparalleled combination of scale and expertise in Corpus Christi” and complement TIPCO’s other operations on the Gulf Coast, including fellow Corpus Christi location Hose of South Texas — acquired in 2024 — and a recently opened counter location and upgraded ISO 9001 certified facility in Houston.
The addition of MTS would also establish a “one-stop shop” for fasteners, hoses and gaskets for the region’s refineries, TIPCO leaders said.
The deal expands TIPCO — the no. 47 distributor on ID’s latest Big 50 list — to a footprint of over 45 locations across 16 states.
Terms of the agreement were not disclosed.
“Together with MTS, we are ready to raise the standards in the industry once again and provide our customers with an unmatched level of quality and support,” TIPCO officials said in a statement.
