Hurricane and Tropical Storm Harvey has had a devastating impact on countless people and businesses in Houston and the greater southeast Texas Gulf Coast. It will continue to impact more as the storm makes its way further inland to Louisiana and beyond.
The region is the country's largest hub for oil and gas operations and is a hotbed for industrial distribution businesses large and small, many of which are currently dealing with considerable flooding and a plethora of logistical issues as the storm has dumped essentially a years' worth of rain over the area and continues to do so. Four of ID's 2017 Big 50 companies are headquartered in the Houston area.
If your company has been impacted by Harvey, please let us know by contacting me at firstname.lastname@example.org or call me at 973-920-7701, as our readers would certainly be interested to see how industrial distributors in the area are dealing with the storm and what are sure to be its long-lasting effects. Feel free to share any details about how your company has dealt with the storm, if you are doing anything to help with the relief efforts and/or share any photos.
Stay safe, and I wish you and everyone at your company the best of luck.
Sincerely, Mike Hockett
