AMTECH’s Variable Frequency Drives Builds Industrially Robust VFDs
Doraville, GA - AMTECH Drives, a global specialist in motion control automation is now offering their Variable Frequency Drive system (VT240S) to the North American markets. Designed for 1 to 600HP motors this electrical current management system delivers multiple modes of precision control including variable torque, constant torque sensor less vector, closed loop vector, sensor less PM and closed loop PM. Additional VT240S features include a built in PLC, multi pump control, spinning frame function, elevator function and a ratio interlock. Environmental friendliness is enhanced with RoHS compliance, selectable soft sound switching capability and a dioxin free plastic case. An EMC filter and DC choke are optional.Intended applications include motors up to 600HP used with extruders, blowers, fans, pumps, lifts, printing and packaging machines, textile equipment, paper production equipment, air compressors and centrifuges.The universal design strategy behind the VT240S has been globally proven via adherence to UL, cUL and CE requirements. A multi-language backlit LCD alphanumeric display further demonstrates the VT240S’s global desirability.
