On Wednesday, the Finger Lakes Times reported that Fastenal, No. 12 on Industrial Distribution's 2014 Big 50 List, has a site plan and architectural review scheduled March 16 for a new building in Geneva, NY.
The proposed facility, to be located about one mile south of Fastenal's current Geneva (pop. 13,200) location, is to be a single-story, 12,500-square feet on a 4.1-acre vacant lot. The building is expected to cover less than an acre.
Fastenal will reportedly move from its current location into the new facility once it is completed.
