ORLANDO - BlueStar, the leading innovator in solutions-based distribution for auto ID, point-of-sale, mobility, RFID and security products, has been named by Datamax-O'Neil as its 2009 Distributor of the Year. The award was presented to BlueStar on May 13th at the Datamax O'Neil Partner Conference held in Orlando.
The North American Distributor of the Year Award is given in recognition of distributors who demonstrate year-over-year sales growth and prove a high level of service on behalf of Datamax-O'Neil.
"BlueStar provided a high service level for Datamax-O'Neil VARS, no matter how small or how large," said Theo Bielowitcz, Distribution Management Director for Datamax-O'Neil. "This proved to be a great strategy in 2009 when the smaller VAR's didn't see the decline that the large VAR's experienced.
