NEW YORK (AP) — W.W. Grainger Inc. said Wednesday that revenue increased in April, primarily from an increase of sales volume.
The Lake Forest, Ill. facilities maintenance company said revenue increased by 14 percent. Excluding contributions from acquisitions and foreign exchange effects, Grainger's revenue increased 12 percent.
Grainger reported total revenue of $7.2 billion in 2010.
Shares fell 89 cents to $150 in pre-market trading.
