COLUMBUS – Industrial distributor Kimball Midwest has recently acquired a 200,000 square foot distribution facility in Reno, Nevada.
This new acquisition will serve as the primary West Coast distribution center for the organization beginning this fall and replaces the company’s current Reno location. It will allow Kimball Midwest to expand its next day service capabilities to their West Coast customers while maintaining their renowned service levels. The need for this new facility is the result of the exemplary performance of the company’s outstanding sales team, which has resulted in dynamic sales of over 20%in its West Coast customer base.
Kimball Midwest is headquartered in Columbus, Ohio and, in addition to Reno, has distribution facilities in Columbus, Ohio and Dallas, Texas. The company was 45th on the most recent Industrial Distribution list of the 50 largest industrial distributors.
