3M Appoints New Head Of Finance

Sarah Grauze, who has been 3M's assistant treasurer and finance director since 2015, will become the company's treasurer and vice president of finance on July 1.

ST. PAUL, MN — 3M announced Wednesday that Sarah Grauze is appointed treasurer and vice president, Finance, effective July 1.

Grauze is currently assistant treasurer and finance director, a position she has held since 2015. She began her 3M career in 1990 as an internal auditor, and went on to serve in a variety of leadership roles in finance, audit and mergers and acquisitions. Grauze holds a master’s degree in finance from the University of Minnesota’s Carlson School of Management, and a bachelor’s degree from the University of St. Thomas.

“Sarah is a strong leader with a broad range of finance expertise and extensive knowledge of our company,” said Nicholas Gangestad, 3M senior vice president and chief financial officer. “I am confident that Sarah’s background and leadership will further strengthen our treasury organization.”

Grauze succeeds Matt Ginter, who has announced his intention to retire, effective July 1.

“We thank Matt for his leadership and contributions to the company and our finance organization during his 28-year 3M career,” Gangestad said.

3M also announced Wednesday that Kristen Ludgate is appointed senior vice president, Human Resources, effective July 1. She will succeed Marlene McGrath, who announced her intention to retire, effective July 1
