CARPENTERSVILLE, IL — Acme Industrial Company, a subsidiary of Jergens, Inc., has announced the promotion of George Margelos to General Manager. Margelos had previously been Acme’s Plant Manager since joining the company in 1996. He holds an MBA from the University of Chicago, a BA from DePaul University and is a Journeyman Tool and Die Maker.
“George is very much in tune with Acme’s customer-driven culture,” said John Evans, president of Acme Industrial. “He led our push to ISO 9001 and AS9100C certification and is fully oriented to the customer service and quality standards that guide the company.
