Sonepar subsidiary NorthEast Electrical on Friday officially opened the application process for its 2026 Community Scholarships & Grants Program.
The program provides seven “Electrify Your Future” scholarships worth $1,000 each and six “Gear Up for Success” tool grants worth $500 to eligible graduating high school seniors in New England, including one scholarship for a student in NorthEast’s hometown of Brockton, Massachusetts.
Applications for this year’s awards are due April 17.
“Our communities thrive when young people feel empowered to bring their full, authentic selves to whatever path they choose,” said Ashley White, a member of NorthEast Electrical’s Inclusion Committee, which established the program. “The stories students share each year remind us why investing in inclusive perspectives is so vital — not just for our company, but for the trades and for the future.”
