DuPont announced Tuesday that Grainger Chairman and CEO D.G. Macpherson has joined the company’s board of directors.
The industrial materials and products giant said that Macpherson’s experience in supply chain and operations optimization would be “invaluable as we execute our growth strategy.”
“His passion for innovation and commitment to continuous improvement make him a natural fit for our board,” DuPont CEO Lori Koch said in the announcement. “We are excited to leverage his leadership experience and insights as we shape the future of DuPont.”
Macpherson is in his 10th year as chief executive of the top distributor on ID’s Big 50 list.
