Christy JacobsSonepar USA, a subsidiary of the privately held Sonepar Group, announces that Christy Jacobs has been named the new VP of finance, West region.
Christy began her career at KPMG where she worked with Sonepar USA as an auditor for five years. She made the move to Sonepar USA in 2007 as corporate director of accounting, where she worked on accounting improvements and implementing new consolidation and reporting tools. After three years, Christy was promoted to shared services director of accounting and, in this role, she worked to transition and integrate various Sonepar USA businesses into the shared services environment. In 2015, Christy moved to San Diego, California to join OneSource as VP of finance.
“Christy’s knowledge and experience with numerous areas of the organization over the last 12 years will be a great asset for her new responsibilities,” says Andy Waring, CFO, Sonepar USA. “We’re excited to have her take on this new role.”
