Colonial Chemical Solutions has acquired a pair of fellow chemical distributors from their private equity owner, company officials announced.
The Savannah, Georgia-based chemical distributor, part of Colonial Group, added Integrity Partners Group, a platform established by OpenGate Capital that includes Virginia-based ChemSolv and St. Louis-based Chemisphere.
Colonial officials said that the deal would add complementary assets to its current operations, as well as broaden its footprint in the Southeast. Terms were not disclosed.
“We are excited to integrate IPG’s people, assets and capabilities into Colonial Chemicals’ existing platform,” Colonial Chemical Solutions President Rob Roberts said in the announcement. “We see this as a natural extension of our chemical distribution business.”
